How to Choose an Order Picker

  • Pick height: the operator platform rises with the forks. Match the lift height to your top shelf or beam.
  • Aisles: wire-guided and rail-guided order pickers steer themselves in very narrow aisles; free-path units steer normally and need wider aisles. Check what your floor and racking are set up for.
  • Battery: match the battery voltage to your chargers, and plan charging around your shifts.
  • Fall protection: operators wear a harness tied off to the truck while elevated, so make sure your team is trained.
  • Every used unit we sell is inspected before it ships.

What is an order picker forklift?

How high can an order picker lift?

Is an order picker the same as a reach truck?

No. A reach truck lifts full pallets while the operator stays on the ground. An order picker lifts the operator too, for picking individual items at height.
